Just a short update: The site’s theme will be updated soon. I’m getting tired of fixing all of the errors in the current theme and I want to switch to something better. Hopefully, the new theme will be cleaner and more compatible. Features may break temporarily while this is happening, so be sure to report any errors. [...] Wow, has it been a long time or what? I haven’t updated since last year. I’ve been working on many non-software-related things in the meantime and haven’t had the time to fix and update the site lately. Here’s a list of what’s been going on lately: Going to m.minousoft.com now serves as a shortcut to the condensed mobile version [...] After trying to upgrade the rating system, I noticed that it broke the layout of the site and does not record some ratings correctly. The rating system has been taken offline until further notice. Sorry folks, but it looks like you have to comment on the articles if you want to tell us what you [...] You can now follow Minousoft on Twitter. You’ll get the added benefit of receiving tweets when new posts are made! Also, some minor updates… A couple of bugfixes have been made in Polaris. Not much progress has been happening with Polaris lately, and it looks like it’ll take a while before it’s ready for release. Earlier today, we reached the milestone of 1000 hits. I’d like to thank all of our visitors for helping us make it this far. In honor of this achievement, I created a Polaris ship: We’re sorry, everyone. Due to an overflow vulnerability in the hosting script, the hosting page has been taken down, thanks to some so-called ‘terrorists.’ NO USER DATA IS OR WAS AT STAKE, HOWEVER ALL DOWNLOADS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. There hasn’t been a real update for a little while, so I’m posting up what little developments there have been recently. Two new songs in the Media Player, in case you haven’t noticed. The first one is a Never Gonna Give You Up remix, in the theme of last Wednesday’s April Fools. I found it challenging to [...] If you were around last year, you may have noticed a little-used video player box on the site. I’ve updated it, fixed it, and added some content. The Media Player is now available here. So far, I’ve added two songs I just finished upgrading the comments system so that it looks and functions better. Parts of it have been AJAX-ified so that you don’t have to load a new page. Additionally, Gravatar support has been enabled (but it’s a bit buggy.) I’ve also added a shoutbox which you are free to comment in. It’s AJAX-enabled, so [...] The main site will be down for maintenance this morning at 11:00am PST. The forums will still be operational during maintenance. You may experience delays when accessing some portions of the site. The upgrades shouldn’t take more than half an hour.
